4. Uluwatu Temple

Also known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, Uluwatu Temple is among the best temples in Bali and located on top of a steep cliff. Like Tanag Lot Temple, this temple too shares a good sunset view, attracting millions of tourists every year.. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Uluwatu Temple boasts of Balinese architecture, traditionally-designed gateways, and ancient sculptures.

There is a small forest at the front and hundreds of monkeys dwell here to guard the temple against bad influence.

According to Bali Hindu's, the three divine powers, Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva meet here. Do visit the shrine having Brahmin statue, facing the Indian Ocean and is considered as a representation of Dhang Hyang Dwijendra. How to reach: Located in Pura Uluwatu at Pecatu Village, one can reach this temple by taking the bypass main road to Nusa Dua and to Jimbaran and then follow the ascending road up to Uluwatu. It is important to arrange vehicle by own as there is no public transportation to get here.

5. Menjangan Island

A part of West Bali National Park, this island is a great diving spot. You can reach this small island by boat, starting from the port of Labuhan Lalang in North Bali. The land is stretched over 3,800Ha and is the home to Javan Rusa Deer known as Menjangan.

To reach this island, you may need park guide and permit, which you can arrange with most tour operators or hotels in the Pemuteran Beach area. The price for the permit is about $1.50 per person and guide fees is about $26.

The island boasts of various shrines, including Segara Giri Dharma Kencana Temple with its towering seaward-facing Ganesh statue. Being a diving spot, one can enjoy scuba diving and go deep into the sea to explore the bio-diversity which the island holds.

6. West Bali National Park

Also known as Taman National Bali Barat, this national park is a conservation area, a forested region which makes up most of central-western Bali, covering over 19,000Ha. The national park's boundary counts open savannahs, dense rainforests, mangrove swamps, and coral reefs. There are more than 300 different species. For couples who want to enjoy diving and snorkeling, then Pulau Menjangan is the best spot.

The national park is a frequent site for scientific research as well as for tourism. There are four peaks in this national park- Mount Prapat Agung at 310m above sea level, Mount Banyuwedang at 430m, Mount Klatakan at 698m, and the highest, Mount Sangiang at 1,000m. Inside, there are many ancient temples that are worth exploring. Being a protected region, one needs special permit to enter. You must check this as well wildlife safari in Ubud.

How to Reach: The park is accessible from Gilimanuk.You can even take a minibus from Gillimauk for 3km ride.

7. Water Blow Bali

Unlike the safe and serene beaches in this island province, Water Blow is a place where you will find unusual beaches clad with sharp rocky edges.. In fact, Since, the sea flows at a fast space, this beach is not recommended for swimming and lifeguards are also not available here. The reason why this place is named as ‘Water Blow’ is because ofthe narrow crag that blows off high-current water to a height of 30 feet. There are high-class resorts that provide luxury accommodations in Bali. You will also find flower beds and green lawns there. How to reach: Nusa Dua is just 30 minutes away from Denpasar Airport. You can take an air taxi which will charge $7.49. You can also opt for a prepaid taxi. After reaching Nusa Dua, you can take another car from your residence to Water Blow.

8. Kuta Beach

Located in the western side of the island, Kuta Beach is considered as the best beaches in Bali for honeymoon. Kuta Beach is also minutes away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport. Over the years, the beach has witnessed a transformation due to the rise of various accommodations, resorts, shopping areas, and other reasons. These have also attracted many visitors, especially honeymoon couples to enjoy every bit of the destination. Though this transformation has made the place crowded, but Kuta Beach continues to attract honeymoon couples.
